This page is dedicated to the two State Class AAA Championship boys basketball teams produced by Odessa Ector High School in 1972 and 1976. As of the launching of this web site (July, 2002), Ector had won the only state championships in basketball by an Odessa public school. The owner of this web site, Ronnie Carter, is a 1972 Ector graduate. Beginning with the 1982 school year, Ector was converted into a junior high school.
